How to print Temp Checks

To print temp checks and temp deposit slips

From Greeter station, logged in as greeter, double click the MMS icon on desktop

Login with this user name and password:

User:        micr

Password: micr

After login, you will be on the main data entry screen:

Enter the member data into the yellow fields

You do not have to enter all the fields, such as the multiple address lines or the date account opened field, those are all optional

As a test example I filled out a test member account so I could print a test temp check and temp dep slip

After filling in the test member data, like this:

It is ready to print…

For the number of checks, one page of checks on the check print paper is 4. So always use a multiple of 4… 4, 8, 12, etc.

For reorder form you can keep that set to N

If you do not need deposit slips, enter 0 at that field

Once you press print, you’ll get a confirmation box. Please press print at this pop up:

After going back to the MMS screen and printing my example, member data…

This is what my printed temp checks looked like:

If you do need to print deposit slips, they are printed on different stock paper. The temp check printer is loaded by default with temp checks. If you need to load temp check paper or temp deposit slip paper. Both paper stock, temp checks and temp deposit slip, are right under the greeter desk, directly under the monitor.

Here:

Both paper stocks are loaded into the HP Laserjet Pro M402N on the greeter desk to the left. The printer that has a label on is that says “MICR TONER ONLY PLEASE” is the temp check/temp deposit slip printer.

The paper is loaded face down, bottom edge goes in first.

Once going back into the MMS screen. This is how it’s set up to print dep slips:

Has to be printed in a multiple of 4… 4, 8, 12, 16, etc.

Then hit print, then print again at the Print confirmation screen.

If printing deposit slips, the printer will let you know when to load the paper. You have to load the deposit slip paper. The paper is loaded face down, bottom edge goes in first. It is loaded in the manual feed tray (Tray number 1).

Then you can close the program.
